About
Four top European universities jointly engaged in
building resilience through a multidisciplinary
educational initiative for smart, sustainable and
collaborative cities.
RESICITIES
is
a
project
funded
by
the
key
action
Strategic
Partnerships
for
higher
education
under
Erasmus+
programme.
IT
involves
a
joint
cooperation
between
top
universities
from
the
following
countries:
Czech
Republic,
Norway,
Portugal
and
France.
The
consortium
has
two
technical
universities
and
two
business
schools
which
in
turn
is
expected
to
provide
a
multidisciplinary
approach
in
higher
education
for
postgraduate
students
in
the
field
of
smart,
sustainable and collaborative cities.
The
project
is
aimed
to
provide
a
multidisciplinary
formation
to
postgraduate
students
by
means
of
an
innovative
online
educational
resources
platform
(OER)
and
blended
learning
mobility
activities
on
topics
related
to
smart,
sustainable
and
collaborative
cities.
It
will
also
provide
educational
resources
for
academic
staff
of
partner
universities
in
topics
such
as
university
social
responsibility,
innovation
management
in
academia
and
in
academic
entrepreneurship.
The
assigned
lecturers
of
partner
universities
will
develop
several
modules
that
will
form
eight
courses,
being
five
of
them
oriented
to
postgraduate
students
and
three
of
them
oriented
to
academic
staff.
Each
course
will
be
composed
by
asynchronous
online
learning
sessions
and
followed
by
an
intensive
week
of
face-to-face
classes
with
the
lecturers
either
in
the
classroom
or
online,
depending on the situation regarding the covid-19 pandemic.
The
consortium
will
also
organize
two
multiplier
events
in
order
to
promote
and
disseminate
the
educational
resources
that
will
be
made
available
in
the
OER
platform.
Among
expected
attendees
of
these
events
will
be
representatives
of
local
public
organizations,
NGOs,
enterprises
and
other
universities or technical schools.
Recognition or validation of the learning outcomes
The
students
who
will
accomplish
each
course
will
be
awarded
with
a
certificate
issued
by
the
hosting
university
with
a
certain
amount
of
ECTS
credits associated to that.
The
academic
staff
who
will
accomplish
each
course
will
also
be
awarded
with
a certificate issued by the hosting university, although without ECTS credits.
